Supporting school and education
There is a need for helping children in school, both in the elementary school and when talking about further education.
The elementary school is free. Still there are many children from poor families, who don’t go to school. The parents can’t afford books, pencils, school bags, clothes and because of that they don’t send the children to school.
NTC wants to help these children.
It can be done by giving the children clothes, school bags etc., so they have the things necessary to follow the teaching.
Another way to help is donating books, paper and other school material to a village school in co-operation with the teachers in the school.
When the children leave elementary school and has to go to high school, the both they have to pay for both teaching and school books. Often there are also travel expenses, when the young people from the villages have to go to the bigger cities to study.
Again it is the poor families who don’t have the necessary means to send their children to high school.
NTC wants to help these young people to break this bad circle and by education get help to self-help.
It can be done by helping the youth and their families paying the school expenses.
NTC is currently supporting young people from Cuceu financially.
