Georgiana Hinoveanu is NTC’s staff member in Romania.
She has just been in Denmark for 3 months and has been a part of NTC’s work here.
She will live at the center in Apahida, and be manager and contact person for NTC.
The last transport to Romania with clothes and things was to Romania in November 2011.
A lot of winter clothes was given out in different places, in co-operation with the organization med Family Aid Foundation (FAF), which is located close to Cluj.
One of the first places the team went was to Pata Rât to deliver boxes with winter clothes. NTC has been several times, there are pictures in the galley.
Another day they went to Lunca Mures, where FAF runs programs for children and for young mothers, and NTC supports this work.
NTC also supports young people financially, so they get the opportunity to go to high school and have an education. At the moment one family gets this support, and the team visited the family and gave them money for this purpose.
In March 2012 another team went to work at the center and improve the facilities at the center and the storage, but also to go different places again and give out boxes.
At the moment the storage in Apahida is almost empty, but in June another transport with several hundred boxes will be shipped, ready for use in Romania.
So NTC in Denmark has been busy. There have been several days, where people meet to pack boxes with clothes, toys, kitchen equipment and other things and it is now almost ready to go.
